Summary about KERI grant
In the last few decades, A lot of work has been started in reducing hunger, overweight, and obesity in the world and America. Childhood obesity is increasing in prevalence in developing countries such as Iraq especially in Baghdad because of modern dietary habits.
Kids Eat Right International (KERI) is one of the efforts which started by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics devoted to supporting public education and programs that address the health problems such as overweight/obesity among many of the world’s children. Also, this type of grant raises awareness among national populations of the need to help kids meet their nutrient requirements as well as energy. I am very passionate about the Kids Eat Right International Campaign which can lead to promoting healthy nutrition habits with high-quality and development in children.
