Speaker Bios:
Dr. Sheila Dean, DSc, RDN, LDN, IFMCP
Dr. Sheila Dean is a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist and board certified integrative and functional medicine practitioner. A published author, national speaker and media spokesperson, Dr. Dean has taught nutrition science for over 21 years as adjunct professor at a variety of universities. She is also the proud co-founder of IFNA, the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy, a comprehensive online training program designed to teach health care practitioners how to seek the true root causes of disease to restore optimal health and function using the most effective integrative and functional nutrition diagnostic tools and treatment protocols for preventing and reversing chronic illness.
Kathie Swift MS RDN FAND
Kathie Swift is a co-founder of IFN Academy and a registered dietitian nutritionist whose mission has always been to make a difference in healthcare. At the core of her work in the nutrition space is a heartfelt commitment to educating healthcare professionals in integrative and functional nutrition therapies as these turned her own health crisis around decades ago. Kathie has pioneered leading edge nutrition programs in the US and has been recognized for her visionary leadership. She has been published in peer-reviewed journals, authored chapters in clinical nutrition textbooks and is the author of 2 books on digestive health, The Swift Diet and The Inside Tract.
